PARADE CRUISE RAFFLE .... ELIGIBILITY: The Tucson Rodeo Parade Cruise Raffle (the “Raffle”) is open to legal residents of the United States (except where prohibited by law), who are 18 years or older at time of ticket purchase. The Raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER: The Raffle begins at 12:01 a.m. November 10, 2005 and ends before 11:00 P.M. March 25, 2006 or until all tickets are purchased. To enter, a Raffle ticket must be purchased from a member of the Tucson Rodeo Parade Committee, Inc. for $100.00 USD. Only 100 tickets will be sold.
RANDOM DRAWING: On March 25, 2006 the "Winner" of the Raffle (“Winner”) will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible tickets purchased. Decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this raffle. Odds of winning are 1:100 per ticket purchased. "Winner" of the raffle is the person or persons whom shall claim the Prize.
PRIZE: The "Winner" will win two (2) tickets on the KIIM-FM ALASKA CRUISE: a seven-night Voyage of the Glaciers Cruise, Ocean view Double with Balcony. The Prize includes airfare from Tucson, transfers, port charges, and taxes for two (2) persons departing Tucson May 27, 2006 including all meals and entertainment offered by The Cruise Place–Tucson. Prize value is $4,670.00 USD. Each "Winner" is fully responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, international and local taxes. All costs and expenses not specified herein, related to the prize, including but not limited to lodging, transportation costs, meals, taxes (including income taxes) and gratuities and other expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the "Winner". "Winner" must be prepared to present a United States Social Security number at time of accepting the Prize. The Prize is non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions or substitutions. The "Sponsors" will not be responsible for Acts of God, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, work stoppage or any other natural disaster outside their control that may cause cancellation of the Cruise. In offering this Prize, the "Sponsors" disavow any affiliation with KIIM-FM Radio Station, The Cruise Place-Tucson, Princess Cruise Lines or any other businesses or corporations with connections to the Prize.
NOTIFICATION: The "Winner" will be notified by telephone and/or overnight mail by the "Sponsors". In the event that the "Winner" does not respond to any such notification within three (3) days, a disqualification will result and an alternative "Winner" shall be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible tickets. The "Winner" will receive Sponsor’s Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability, which must be completed, notarized and returned within ten (10) days of receipt. A disqualification will result and an alternative "Winner" will be randomly selected from all remaining eligible tickets if the Sponsor’s Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability are not properly returned within the stated time period. Refusal or return of "Sponsor’s" Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability as non-deliverable will also result in disqualification and cause an alternative "Winner" to be chosen from all remaining eligible tickets.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE: By participating in the Raffle and purchasing a ticket, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all entry requirements. By entering the Raffle, the "Winner" agrees to waive all claims against the "Sponsors" and their respective agents and representatives for any injury, damages or loss that may occur from participation in the Raffle, or from the receipt or use of the Prize, or travel related to the receipt or use of the Prize. Further, the "Winner" grants to "Sponsors" the right to publicize such "Winner’s" name and/or likeness in any medium without any additional compensation or consideration unless prohibited by law.
GENERAL CONDIITONS: The "Sponsors" are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Raffle-related materials. The "Sponsors" are not responsible for stolen, lost, or damaged tickets. The "Sponsors" are not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate transcription, or loss or delay of Prize notification information.
Any attempt to deliberately damage the operation of the Raffle is unlawful and subject to legal action by the "Sponsors". "Sponsors" shall have the sole right to disqualify any contestant for violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Raffle, and to resolve all disputes in their sole discretion. "Sponsors" (i) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning the Prize, and (ii) disclaim any implied warranty.
"Sponsors" reserve the right in their sole discretion to cancel or suspend the Raffle should unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the "Sponsors", corrupt administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the Raffle. In the event of cancellation, the "Sponsors" may elect to identify a "Winner" and award the Prize by way of random drawing from among all entrants who had purchased tickets at the time of such cancellation.
